David Pedrick, Pedrick Yacht Designs, in Newport, Rhode Island, talks about the outset of the restoration of the 12 Metre Yacht "Blue Marlin". The boat is a 1937 Charles E. Nicholson design (#454) and built at the Camper & Nicholson boatyard in Gosport, Hampshire. (720p, 2008)
The 1937 Camper & Nicholson Twelve Metre Yacht "Blue Marlin" is being rebuilt to the highest specifications. The Red Sky Boat Yard at the Wooden Boat Center in Kotka, Finland is doing the work. The Principal Yacht designer for this project is David Pedrick. He is visiting the site in November 2011. The deckbeams are on the Blue Marlin and the hull is back into its original form.
